Issued from typical local grapes: Syrah, Carignan, Grenache and Mourvèdre, harvested from small vine plots surrounding Gruissan village, Playa will amaze you with his character definitely Mediterranean: easy, smooth, seducing, with fine spices et small red berries flavours.

Of course Playa is made from typical grape varieties from Gruissan terroirs, it nevertheless retains the typical touch of both LE CARTEL's oenologists: seductive, with spicy notes and red berries, Playa offers a very southern profile first place, before expressing itself in suppleness and lightness, it is a pleasant and easy wine, which does not deny its terroir of origin, we are talking about summer's wine, the one for lenghtening evenings.

Ageing: 7 months on fine lees in cement tank

Vineyard: Clay and Limestones soils Gruissan Village

Alcohol content: 12,5% Vol

 

Tasting notes

Colour: The color is brilliant and deep

Nose:  We guess fine spices, aromatic herbs, thyme, a hint of tobacco.

Palate: is supple, all in finesse, oscillating on the cocoa and the spices already perceived on the nose. A slightly acidic finish brings the necessary length, on supple and pleasant tannins.
